1. Who We Are

WonderWorld is operated by WonderWorld Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India. We build safe, multilingual digital content experiences for children aged 2–12 and their families.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the app experience:

From parents (account registration): Name, email address, and payment information for premium subscriptions. This is used solely to manage your account.

From child profiles: First name (or nickname), age range, and preferred language. We do not collect any other personal information from children.

Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated data about which content is popular — never tied to individual children. This helps us improve content recommendations.

Technical data: Device type, operating system version, and crash reports — used only for app stability and improvement.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Full names, addresses, or phone numbers of children
• Photos, videos, or audio recordings from children
• Location data of any kind
• Contacts or social network information
• Behavioural data for advertising purposes

4. How We Use Information

Parent account information is used to: manage your subscription, send important service updates, and provide customer support. We do not send marketing emails without explicit opt-in.

Child profile information is used solely to: personalise the content feed for the right age group and language, and save reading progress across devices.

5. Advertising

WonderWorld contains zero advertisements. We do not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell advertising space. We do not use behavioural profiling. Ever.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only third parties who may access limited data are:

• Payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe) — only receive billing information, never child data
• Cloud hosting providers — store encrypted data under strict data processing agreements
• Analytics providers — receive only anonymised, aggregated usage statistics

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA & DPDP Compliance)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP). Specifically:

• We require verifiable parental consent before creating a child profile
• Parents can review, update, or delete all data associated with their child's profile at any time
• We never market to children or use their data for any commercial purpose beyond delivering the app experience
• Children cannot communicate with strangers through the app in any way

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account. When you delete your account, all associated data — including child profiles and reading history — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We conduct regular security audits and penetration tests. Our infrastructure is hosted in ISO 27001-certified data centres.

10. Your Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

• Access all data held about your account and your child's profile
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of all data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify parents via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
